Wild Hyacinth

Esculenta is a rich dark blue variety, that is slightly smaller than other Camassia bulbs. They look great planted en masse.

Camassia bulbs are native to western North America and naturalize well in gardens. They produce multiple star-shaped flowers on tall stems (24-30 inches)

The bulbs flower late in the Spring season and they grow best in well-drained soil high in hummus.

Camassia bulbs are repellent to deers and rodents, and will grow back bigger and better every year.
