As we step into the month of June, the Netherlands transitions from the spring season to summer. After a busy period of tulips, we now find a moment of respite to unwind and prepare for the upcoming harvest season.<\/p>\n

This year, our spring in the Netherlands has been quite exceptional, with colder temperatures and ample rainfall. As a result, the growing cycle of our tulips has been slightly delayed, spanning approximately one week later than the usual schedule. Following their blooming period, we remove the flower heads, allowing all the plant’s energy to be directed towards nurturing the bulbs. These flower bulbs will now rest in the soil for a few additional weeks to grow! We’ll start our tulip harvest around June 14th and are excited about the prospects of a bountiful yield.<\/p>\n
