Large flowering crocus bulbs
Large flowering crocus bulbs feature cup shaped flowers on short stems. They are excellent for lawns, borders, containers and rock gardens. Large flowering crocus bulbs are very short (5 inches) and will return for several years if the foliage is allowed to die off. The ‘Crocus Pickwick’ will flower early in the season.
Top sized crocus bulbs
Ruigrok Flowerbulbs supplies top sized large flowering crocus bulbs, 9/10. ‘Crocus Pickwick’ performs best in full sun, but they also tolerate some shade. They dislike wet feet and require well-drained soil.
Planting crocus bulbs
Do you want to plant the crocus bulbs? When planting crocus bulbs, you should always place the pointed ends, the nose, up. Crocus bulbs should be planted at a depth of double the height of the bulb. The planting depth is 3” (7,5 cm) with a spacing of 2-3” (5-7,5 cm).
Early flowering
You can already enjoy this crocus early in the season. The flowering period is in March and the bloom duration is mostly three weeks.
